First Keenan “Green Machine” rolls off the factory floor under new Alltech ownership

[DUNBOYNE, Ireland] – Following Alltech’s acquisition of Keenan, a leading farming solutions company in Ireland, the first Keenan “Green Machine” rolled off the factory floor in Borris, Co. Carlow, Ireland today. Keenan, now part of the Alltech family of companies, is the 14th acquisition for Alltech globally since 2011.

Nigel Griffin, Alltech Australia area sales manager and on-farm support team member for East Gippsland, was on hand at Farm World, April 7–10, in Warragul, Victoria, spoke to attendees about nutrition programs to improve herd profitability.

Addressing the unavoidable risk of mycotoxins was a hot topic at the Alltech booth at Farm World, which attracted more than 50,000 people to Lardner Park in Warragul, April 7–10.

The Alltech team spoke to many farmers and agriculture executives about the presence of mycotoxins in Australia and the importance of having a documented mycotoxin control program in place.

[LEXINGTON, Ky.] – Twenty-one voices with a shared dream: Undergraduate and graduate-level students sang for a chance at that dream on Sunday evening at Alltech’s 11th annual Vocal Scholarship Competition. Of the 250 singers from 25 states and six countries who competed in the preliminary competition, 21 finalists from four regions of the world stunned audiences when they took to the University of Kentucky’s Singletary Center stage in Lexington, Ky., to compete for more than a half-million dollars in scholarships and prizes.
