Alltech welcomes Leonides Garcia as the general manager for the Philippines

[MANILA, the Philippines] – Alltech is pleased to announce that Leonides Garcia has been promoted to the position of general manager for the Philippines, effective July 1, 2016.

Garcia received a bachelor’s degree in agriculture majoring in animal science, from the University of the Philippines- Los Baños in 1994. He started his professional career with one of the biggest food corporations in the Philippines- as a contract breeding area coordinator for three years and as a farm superintendent for one year which gave him opportunities to be on-farm.

Garcia has a wealth of experience in the industry having spent 11 years with Alltech, handling the company’s businesses in Visayas and Mindanao and also acting as technical support manager for pigs in Southeast Asia.

In his new role, Garcia will manage Alltech’s overall business in the Philippines. The Alltech team believes that Garcia’s innovative and strategic vision will continue to enhance the direction and growth of the company, synergistically strengthening Alltech’s brand value in the Philippines.
