Alltech at the Philippines Poultry Show and Fiestag 2015
Alltech Philippines remains to be a relevant partner of The Philippine Poultry Show and Fiestag 2015 last 14th-16th August 2015, organized by the Philippine Egg Board Association, The United Broiler Raisers Association, and the National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders Inc. According to Jennifer Del Rio, Alltech Philippines National Sales Manager, Alltech remains to be relevant having its efforts to fulfil the performance of true genetic potential of each poultry species while making it possible to have a safe and traceable meat composition to each broiler and table eggs present in supermarket and local wet market. To date, Alltech is present in Philippines largest Poultry feed organization and integrators, broiler and layer farms. The growth of Poultry industry in the Philippines has greatly helped in feeding the 101 million Filipinos and will continuously make a big difference in highlighting food safety, quality and traceability where Alltech is strong at.
Secretary Proceso Alcala of Dept. Of Agriculture highlighted “One Advantage we have and which we continue to protect is our Avian Influenza-free status. This gives our broiler industry export opportunities in the foreign market. Last year, a total of 8.5 million kilograms of poultry meat were exported to Japan, Kuwait and Thailand; this volume is 80% higher than in 2013”.
As we celebrate the growth and achievement of the broiler, layer and gamefowl industries in the Philippines, we are holding the biggest poultry and gamefowl show to date. A thousand of traffic has been noted from Alltech Philippines creative activities and short technical discussions. The event has gained additional successes having on site sales of Acid Pak 4 Way which Gamefowl breeders were amazed on the solutions immediate effect while their animals were exposed to a very stressful environment being transported from farms to the event area. Many were transformed to Alltech’s solutions and additional follow-ups will be rendered. Industry heads, business stakeholder, breeder enthusiast and even students visited the booth and was able to have Alltech booth photo opportunities and special Alltech freebies.
