In response to the devastation caused by the disaster in Palu, from Alltech Indonesia is committing to participate on building a school and in-kind support for relief and recovery, partnership with Aksi Cepat Tanggap.
On 10th Dec 2018 Alltech Indonesia flew to Palu and see the current condition in Palu. The team have seen several locations that disappeared due to the tsunami, buildings destroyed by the earthquake, some locations that were difficult to reach due to landslides, and lost villages due to liquefaction.
They also had a chance to go to the school location donated by Alltech. School construction is still in process. This development was delayed because there was an earthquake and caused several locations to split causing the water and material in the earth came out. Until school construction is complete, the students study under temporary tents.
During this visit, Alltech had a chance to meet the students and several victims of the disaster. They really excited when we gave them free milk. Despite the disaster that they face it, they still have the spirit to move on.
