Alltech European Ruminant Career Development Program
The Alltech European Ruminant Career Development Program is a one-year salaried entry-level program, giving graduates passionate about the ruminant industry the opportunity to develop their skills in nutrition and animal health in an innovative agribusiness company.
The program delivers technical training and practical field work both locally and internationally with Alltech’s Dairy & Beef Nutrition System. Members will receive constant mentorship throughout the program to develop their skills in ruminant health, herd performance and farm profitability. Upon completion of the program, successful candidates will join Alltech’s strong and dynamic international team and contribute to the development of the global ruminant industry.
What will your role be?
Trainees will develop skills to work in a technical sales role in their assigned markets.
The role encompasses but is not limited to:
· Promoting Alltech solutions at tradeshows and events
· Auditing farm operations and providing appropriate solutions
· Business development and management of clients
· Supporting marketing campaigns
· Contributing to the expansion and deployment of Alltech solutions
Profile of the candidates:
Recent graduates (or soon-to-be) able to commence by September 2017 with a Bachelors or Master’s degree in animal science, veterinary science, dairy business, beef production and closely related fields.

Fluency in English and another European language (Spanish, French, Dutch, German, Greek or Italian)
