You’re hired: 2016 Alltech Young Scientist programme to include fully-funded Ph.D. and post-doc positions

[DUNBOYNE, Ireland.] –The prize package has been sweetened for winners of the annual Alltech Young Scientist programme. Beginning in 2016, the world’s largest university-level competition in agri-science will not only publicly honour the overall champions for their scientific discoveries with trophies and cash awards, but will offer fully-funded Ph.D. and post-doctorate positions to the global undergraduate and graduate winners.

[DUNBOYNE, Ireland] – As combines hit the fields this autumn for harvest, farmers may want to keep a watchful eye on their crop quality. Preliminary testing over the summer months of 2015 European crops, conducted by Alltech’s 37+® mycotoxin analysis, shows climate challenges in Europe this summer have created a situation where crops need to be analysed for mycotoxins.
