Walking the fields: Heat waves and drought in Europe expose grain maize to mould and mycotoxins

[DUNBOYNE, Ireland] – As combines hit the fields this autumn for harvest, farmers may want to keep a watchful eye on their crop quality. Preliminary testing over the summer months of 2015 European crops, conducted by Alltech’s 37+® mycotoxin analysis, shows climate challenges in Europe this summer have created a situation where crops need to be analysed for mycotoxins.
